4Minute



 4Minute (Korean포미닛, often stylized in all caps) was formed by Cube Entertainment as a South Korean girl group. The members consist of HyunA, Jihyun, Gayoon, Sohyun and Jiyoon . A large female fan base got attracted by their edge dance-pop style and "girl crush image". 

In 2009, the group debuted with the single "Hot Issue". A full-length Japanese album called Diamond was released in 2010. 4Minute also has released a Korean Album named 4Minutes Left in 2011 which is one full-length. Seven Korean extended plays and multiple singles were also created in 2011 by 4Minute.  

Several major awards were received by 4Minute. One of them is the Rookie Award at the Golden Disc Awards in 2009. Another achievement was the K-pop New Artist Award at the Billboard Japan Music Awards in 2010. Other awards received by 4Minute include the Bonsang Award (2011 and 2012) and Seoul Music Awards (2014). In June 2016, 4Minute disbanded after unsuccessful contract renewal negotiations between the majority of the members of the group and Cube Entertainment,
